OUR MISSION...The mission of Excelsius Academy centers on empowering students' academic and social environments within the community. We tutors inspire intellectual curiosity and lifelong learning, while embracing discipline and self-motivation. Students will develop leadership and personal responsibility, and promoting diversity and respect for all others.
ACADEMIC PROGRAMS 1. Homework Tutoring: Our after-school program helps students keep up with their homework, and gives additional explanations and instructions whenever they need. Students are always prepared and ready for the next school day. They also achieve better grades and demonstrate greater confidence. 2. Focus Classes: Our classes concentrate on one particular subject at a time. We offer subjects such as Comprehension, Essay Writing with high-level math and science courses such as Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. These demanding classes are critical for high school and college positioning. 3. SAT Preparation: Extensive instructions and test taking strategies are given in our 6-week SAT boot camp. Students learn goal setting, homework discipline and other strategies that are essential in increasing their SAT test scores. Full length simulation test are also given weekly. Our students in the past have achieved scores increases from 200 to over 700 points. |
